Magellan Budget and Inventory
Magellan Budget & Inventory is designed to help schools monitor their budget and manage their stock. Magellan Budget and Inventory operates using the same Magellan database as the basic module
The budget is divided into accounts and budget lines. Account funds are allocated to budget lines either automatically based on a percentage key or manually and expenditure is recorded using account entries. The current budget is placed opposite the total expenditure so you can monitor budget lines and accounts. Remainders can be carried over to the following budgeting year and acquisitions are recorded as inventory though books from Magellan-Library are a special inventory case. Relevant suppliers can be noted for certain expenses and these can be selected from a central supplier list.
