Magellan Library
Magellan Library & Teaching Resources can be used for organisation of your library, including your teaching resources. It enables management, searching and lending of books, teaching materials, CDs, DVDs and other media. Magellan Library works with the Magellan database meaning teachers and pupils appear automatically as borrowers, though of course other persons can also be entered. The common data stock makes it possible, for instance, for schools to check whether a pupil has returned all the books they borrowed before leaving the school. The process for lending and return of books is very simple - a barcode scanner scans the barcode on the library pass and book. The convenient OPAC search function allows you to transfer data recorded in public catalogues of other libraries for new books.
